All our
apricot seeds and apricot seed oil come directly from the high Himalayas.
The apricots are totally pesticide and fertiliser free and because
they grow in remote locations, there is no pollution. The trees grow wild in valleys and villages
and are gathered by the local people at the end of the summer. The summers are short and it is impossible
to reach these locations during the winter months because the roads are
blocked by snow. The whole process of
harvesting, opening the kernels, cleaning and bagging the seeds, is done by
hand. The apricot seed oil is made
locally in the traditional way
